Funny. Ours was done on the 23rd of April, and again tomorrow? Looks just as clean as it did when they came by two weeks ago when all the cars cleared off the road...yet we didn't even get our street plowed once with snow on the ground this winter? 🙄 Upping our property taxes to waste money.
Would help if we could actually see the route.

❗ALBERTA EMERGENCY ALERT TEST ON MAY 8❗
Please be aware that a scheduled test alert will be issued on Wednesday, May 8 at approximately 1:55 p.m.
After our incident last year, we understand the effect these alerts can have when they come through, which is why we want to let you know — in advance — of the scheduled test coming through on May 8.
Province-wide tests are issued twice a year, in May and November, to ensure the system is working the way it should. The next test alert will be issued on Wednesday, November 20 at approximately 1:55 p.m. We will post another reminder closer to that date.

EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS WEEK: MAY 5 - 11
May 5 to 11 is Emergency Preparedness Week in Alberta! Emergencies/disasters can happen at any time, and it's important to be prepared to take action in these situations to reduce anxiety and help keep you and your family safe.
Do you know the difference between an Evacuation Alert and an Evacuation Order?
❗EVACUATION ALERT (ADVISORY)
People should prepare to evacuate soon, if the situation deteriorates.
⦿ Evacuation alerts help you prepare to leave on short notice.
⦿ Take the actions directed, be prepared to go quickly and monitor trusted sources of information for updates.
❗❗EVACUATION ORDER (CRITICAL)
People must evacuate now.
⦿ Evacuation orders are issued when you are in danger.
⦿ Evacuate immediately if you are located inside an order's boundaries and directed to evacuate.
⦿ Delaying your departure can put your life at risk and hinder emergency response efforts.
⦿ Follow the specific instructions provided by your local authorities during an evacuation.
⦿ Always prioritize your safety and the safety of those around you. It can sometimes be difficult to accept the reality of emergency situations, but choosing to ignore it can put your life, and the lives of others, at risk. Acting quickly reduces the risk of evacuation routes becoming blocked or too dangerous to travel. Following evacuation orders also allows first responders to focus on the threat and help those who may need it. When you are prepared to respond to an evacuation order, it gives you time to protect your home and reduces the stress of leaving.
📣 EVACUATION RESCIND
An evacuation alert or order is withdrawn or cancelled when it is determined it is safe for your return. It is important that you only return when permitted and you understand the details of the return process.
