Corporate Business Plan

Following the General Municipal Election, Town Council undertook a new approach to strategic planning in November 2021 in which the newly assembled members of Council established its strategic priorities. During the campaign process, Town Council had the opportunity to speak to residents and members of the business community who provided valuable insight and feedback into important matters in the community that helped to shape these strategic goals.

The Corporate Business Plan was developed by Administration and provides long-term focus and direction for municipal services, initiatives and programs that support Town Council’s strategic goals. The priorities identified in the Corporate Business Plan will be used to guide and assist Council with decision making and annual budgeting.

The key priorities and areas of focus will guide Drayton Valley’s growth over the next four years with measurable achievements.
