The Omniplex encompasses three multi-purpose recreation facilities, all under one roof!   The Omniplex has three large concrete pads that is home to both winter and summer activities, a lounge, a main hall lobby, a meeting room, a fitness centre and conference centre.  It is an ideal location for trade shows, conferences, exhibitions, recreational events and agricultural shows.  The entire facility is fully accessible to the disabled.

The Omniplex is home to an AJHL hockey team, the Drayton Valley Thunder.

Conveniently located at 5737- 45 Avenue, in the heart of Lions West Valley Park, the Omniplex is surrounded by five baseball diamonds, a soccer field, the rodeo grounds, a secluded day-use park and a 40-site full-service RV Park.

Saturday – Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Stat Holidays: CLOSED
The Omniplex & Total Works Fitness Centre will be closed on the following stat holidays;
New Year’s Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day
Stat Holidays: OPEN
The Omniplex & Total Works Fitness Centre will be open during the following stat holidays from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.:
Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Heritage Day (August Long Weekend), Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day
If the statutory holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the holiday hours of 10:00 am – 6:00 pm will be on the following Monday.

KIDSPORT GRANT

The Government of Alberta has provided funding for $4 million to help get more Alberta youth active and to create more sport, physical activity and recreation opportunities. As a part of the Return to Play program, KidSport Alberta will distribute $1.85 million through the KidSport chapters’ regular gram program to assist over 7,000 children with the registration costs for sport programs across Alberta!
