🚨 No Parking Signs 🚗🚫: Please move your vehicles from these roads between 7 AM – 7 PM to avoid fines.

February 13, 2025 has been proclaimed as “Wear Red Canada Day” in the Town of Drayton Valley to raise awareness for all Canadians – but especially Canadian women – to be mindful, curious, and proactive in the management of heart health and wellness. 🫀

💧 Participate in our P.O.U.R. Program!

The Town of Drayton Valley is proud to support a water conservation initiative which runs each year. This program is available for customers receiving Town water service who choose to install approved fixtures or appliances which reduce the amount of water consumed. Eligible fixtures and appliances are:
➜ WaterSense®️ certified toilet.
➜ Water pressure reducers
➜ Energy Star®️ certified washing machines
➜ Energy Star®️ certified dishwashers
➜ Energy Star®️ certified water heaters

🏠 Residential Customers
If you install water efficient fixtures or appliances before December 31 of this year, you may qualify for a credit of $100 on your Town utility bill (Note: There is a limitation of one credit of $100 per year per address).

Additionally, each upgrade entitles you to one entry in a draw for a credit of $500 on your Town utility bill. All water consumption reducing installations must be for the current year and must be completed prior to December 31 to qualify.

💼 Commercial Customers
If you install between one and ten water efficient fixtures or appliances before December 31, you will qualify for a credit of $100 on your Town utility bill. Each replacement of one to ten units will qualify your business for a $100 credit (i.e. sixteen WaterSense®️ certified toilets installed = $200 utility account credit).

Town Council welcomed Trish Wiersma from Drayton Valley & District Community Learning Association during this mornings Council Meeting who presented Council with a certificate in appreciation for their participation and support in their second annual Sweater or Socks (SOS) Campaign.

Drop by Rotary House on Friday, February 14 or 28 for the next scheduled pick up dates for the socks or sweaters campaign. Or visit their office Monday through Thursday between 8:30 and 3:00. They have lots of items we would love go to those in need.

We’ve had recent snow accumulations over the past week with more anticipated today. Road crews anticipate with the recent and forecasted snow accumulations will trigger snow removal priority 1 & 2.

🚫 Seasonal Parking Ban: FEB 12 @ 7 PM 🚫
A Seasonal Parking Ban is in effect starting THIS EVENING at 7 PM. If you live or work along a seasonal parking route, please move your vehicle within 8 hours of the ban being declared. The ban will remain in place until snow clearing is complete.
