How to Protect Yourself & Others
- Use good hygiene practices, such as frequent hand washing
- Practice “Physical-Distancing”
- Cover coughs and sneezes: cover your mouth and nose with your arm to reduce the spread of germs, dispose of any tissues you have used as soon a possible and wash your hands immediately
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
- Self-isolate, stay at home and away from others if you are feeling ill
- Mask use is recommended in situations where physical distancing of 2 metres is not possible.
If you think you’ve been exposed to COVID-19, stay home and call Health Link 811 for instructions. You can also use the AHS COVID-19 Self Assessment Tool.
