4-S Skatepark

The 4-S Skatepark, located at 4804-44 Street, was constructed in September, 2012, and was immediately occupied by skateboarders, BMX riders and spectators!

Initiated by a group of enthusiastic young people, the skateboard park received funding and in-kind contributions from local fundraising, a variety of corporate sponsors, the Town of Drayton Valley, Brazeau County and the Province of Alberta. The construction of the Skatepark is a fine example of community youth “Pulling Together.”

The Skatepark’s signature feature is the “fun track”; other features include a horseshoe (open) bowl, stair sets, manny pads, ledges, hips, rails, gaps and is open to all ages and abilities.
