Education in Drayton Valley
The Town of Drayton Valley’s vision for a bright and prosperous future includes education and is building the foundation to bring education to the Drayton Valley region.
Building education in Drayton Valley increases access to post-secondary education in rural Alberta for students and mature learners to build the skills they need to enter the workforce, compete in a competitive job market or learn new skills while saving money by learning in a smaller setting close to home.
Why Drayton Valley?
Education is expensive! Bringing education into a rural setting allows students to stay in their own community and can cut down on travel costs while you pursue your career!
Partners in Education
Starting in January 2021, Northern Lakes College will be offering services to Drayton Valley! Students can study from home, or work, or access their courses at the Clean Energy Technology Centre!

Education Survey
We’d like to thank everyone who took a moment to fill out our Post-Secondary Education & Training Survey between October 20 – November 20.
We received a total of 177 responses and some great feedback that the Town will use when speaking with and attracting education partners to our region. We were excited to see results from all age groups, all backgrounds and all areas of interest. This feedback will help inform decisions on education and skills training programs and services that meet the needs of our community!
