Entrepreneur Bootcamp for Students – Building the Bio-Products Industry
Are you considering starting your own company but don’t have the right idea? Do you have an idea but aren’t confident on how to get it going? Do you want to define your own success as an Entrepreneur?
The Clean Energy Technology Centre is the newest venue in Central Alberta working with Entrepreneurs to bring innovation to commercialization. This 2.5 day event will provide you with entrepreneur savvy guidance from eHub and ThinQ Business Ninjas.
This Student Entrepreneur Bootcamp is focused on finding new commercial uses for a100% biodegradable fiber mat plant made from hemp, flax and wood waste that when pressed could be used to replace plastic and fiberglass components. Current the use case is manufacturing of interior car door panels for GM to replace the plastic version
We will show you the steps to develop a business model utilizing unique fiber mat technology that replaces fiberglass and plastic!
This bootcamp competion is for current high school students and post-secondary students (current or have graduated within the past 5 years). 1st Place is $2,000 cash award and 2nd Place is $750 Cash Award.
The Bootcamp is free to attend with meals included. Evening activities will also be organized for Friday & Saturday. Transportation to Drayton Valley and hotel accomodations are the responsibility of the attendees. Preferred hotel rates will be provided to registered attendees.
