This hazardous materials course is designed for personnel and first responder personnel (Fire, Police, EMS, and industry) who may be faced with a scene involving a hazardous materials/weapons of mass destruction incident or emergency. This course stresses how personnel can protect themselves, initiate proper response, and secure the area. NFPA 472 Awareness is a pre-requisite for NFPA Fire/Rescue courses.
