IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM Alberta Health Services
The Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre Emergency Department (ED) will be temporarily without physician coverage from 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16 until 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17.
Residents are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency and are reminded to call Health Link at 811, which is available 24/7 for non-emergency health-related questions. Individuals requiring non-emergency medical care are also encouraged to call their family physician.

Haha...is this a joke? No other doctor can take that shift? That wouldn't fly in any other industry. I couldn't imagine how it would be received if I sent an email to my boss tonight saying that my position won't have coverage for tomorrow's shift. And my job isn't life or death...
The Town of Drayton Valley offers dust suppression services on a cost-share basis to residential and business property owners within town limits!
✓ Dust suppression agents will be applied on a 50% cost-share basis up to 150 metres
✓ The Town will utilize a water-based product that meets environmental standards
✓ Dust suppression season is between May 1 and September 30 of each year
