Roger's Telecommunication Tower Notification

Rogers intends to construct a 42m telecommunications tower at 5212 Industrial Road in Drayton Valley. The proposed facility is in a suitable location for improving wireless service and, when complete, will provide wireless coverage and added cellular capacity for the surrounding area.

The tower is self supporting lattice style with a triangular configuration and will be clearly visible in the community (see attached images).

Please contact the planning department at 780-514-2219 before May 23 if you would like to comment on the proposal.

I believe it could be a pleasing aesthetic presentation with the addition of a First Nations design on it and top it off with a huge Alberta flag. 😎

Street Sweeping | April 19, 2024

Crews will be out starting at 5:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19 to sweep the Omniplex and Ricochet Oil Corp Aquatic Center parking lots. This area is marked on the attached map in orange. No parking signs have been placed on the streets marked yellow on the map. Work will commence around 7:30 a.m. in the yellow areas.

Please help our crews and equipment move safely and quickly through these areas by moving your vehicles. Vehicles left on the streets can cause delays in completing the area.
