NOTICE OF STATUTORY PUBLIC HEARING

BYLAW 2024-01-D: AMEND LAND USE BYLAW 2020/12/D: CREATE DC-2 AND REDISTRICT THE SUBJECT LOT FROM R-SML to DC-2

Town Administration is proposing to amend Land Use Bylaw 2020-12-D with amendment 2024-01-D as follows:
1️⃣ Establish DC-2, Direct Control District - this will allow for residential and limited mixed use development compatible with the surrounding residential uses
2️⃣ To redistrict Plan 6261KS Block 27 Lot 1 (4760-46 St.) from R-SML to DC-2 as shown on the map. The current parcel is zoned R-SML Residential, Small Parcel and we are proposing to amend it to DC-2 to allow for uses other than residential

Public Hearings are open to the public and you are encouraged to attend to provide your feedback. You can also submit your feedback in writing to the Planning & Development Department prior to May 1 by email: plandev@draytonvalley.ca or by dropping off a letter at the Civic Centre at 5120 52 Street.
