Earth Day 2009

Aurora Elementary School

Drayton Valley residents Mrs. Brocken and Mrs. Kuliasa celebrated Earth Day with the Grade 4 classes at Aurora Elementary School. They shared a slide show illustrating the importance of conserving the Earth’s remaining freshwater supply, which currently makes up less than 3% of all the water on earth. They explained how we all could make sustainable choices that would positively impact the environment. After both the presentation and classroom discussion the students took a quiz on what they learned.
