Social Development Plan
Our comprehensive Social Development Plan is aimed to enhance the quality of life in Drayton Valley. It will help provide direction for future decisions in the key areas identified by the community. It was built by a collaboration of citizens, organizations and the government, and it is designed to create a balance between the various needs of our community.
We are putting our plan into motion. Working with citizens, private/public organizations and the government, Drayton Valley will utilize current and new resources to reach our collective goals. The plan points us towards our ideal future—the future that is possible if we all pull together; just like we pulled together to become the Safest and Healthiest Community in Alberta. These feats aren’t just ways to measure our success; improving is our way of life.
